St.Patricks Day

Heres some pictures of Emma and her class on St.Patricks Day. I was in charge of the class party, so I took the kids on a scavenger hunt to find what Lenny the Leprechaun left them. It's days like this when you just marvel at the innocence of kids. I wish my day could be as exciting as looking for a Leprechaun. What it's like to be a kid.

Our Date Night

Louie and I try to get out at least once a month to reconnect, and have some time to ourselves. Marriage is work, and we definetely have always made an effort to work at it. I think our love can last a lifetime. It's not perfect, but at the end of the day, and after all is said and done, I know I found my soulmate>

Amee and Emma cooking dinner

We have started a Sunday tradition to have Louies Mom over for dinner. It has become one of our favorite nights. We cook all day, play games, light a fire and just have good family time. Lifes so short. When we almost lost Sherry a year ago, it made us put in check how quickly things can change, and your life can never be the same. Family is everything, and were lucky to have her here

Our 2nd Honeymoon

Heres some pictures from our cruise we just got back from. It was an amazing trip and wonderful time together, but very hard leaving the kids for that long. Our days were spent touring the different ports, and our nights were spent enjoying what the ship had to offer, Shows, movies under the stars, etc. Our first stop was Jamaica which I found beautiful. We booked an excursion to take a catamaran over to the famous Dunns river Falls, where we would hike to the top. I thought that meant walking to the top. It actually meant holding on to 50 other peoples hands while you hike up the waterfall itself. I lasted half way through and bailed out. Louie let go of everyones hands, and kept trucking. Our second stop was Cozumel, which was extremely beautiful. Warm waters, white sand, cold drinks!!! Our next stop was the Cayman islands. Unfortunately our tour was canceled for that day, so we didnt get off the ship. Our last stop was Princess Cays, a private island in the Bahamas. What is there to say when it comes to a private island in the Bahamas. It doesnt get any better than that! It was a great last stop. It was nice to see some of these places, and know where we would like to return.

Music class with Sean

Today I went to Seans music class. It was so cute. It reminded me of those days when the kids were little and we'd go to classes like that, and sit around and talk to other Moms, and feel like you got out of the house, and had some mom time and baby time. Little Sean is just the light of my life. Today we're getting ready to leave for "the honeymoon we never took" I'm so excited, but so sad to leave the kids. Louie said we'll never do this again without the kids, and then I reminded him of how much affordable is to do a vaction like this without the kids, I will try and blog, but not sure how the connection will be overseas. We stay tonight in Ft.Lauderdale, then tommorow board the ship. Our stops are Jamaica,Cayman islands, Cozumel, and Princess Cays in the Bahamas. Okay it's to time to pack up and go. Keep you posted.

Talent Show Auditions

This week was a big week for Emma and Tyler at there school. They had talent show auditons. Unfortunately there is a lot of talent at there school, and everyone wants to be in it. Since they cant have a 4 hour show, they have to cut a lot of people. This year there cutting over 30 people. I am in charge of 3 acts. Emma and her friend Aly are doing a dance. I have 19 daisies singing What a Wonderful World, and 14 5th grade boys doing a dance. I guess if one gets cut, it will take some things off my plate. Today the results come up. I'll keep you posted

Our 3 Christmases

I

started my blog a while back, and never continued. One of my resolutions for 2009 is to try and keep up with this blog. It will be a great way for me to reflect and see what happened in the previous year. We spent our Christmas in Las Vegas with Maryann's Family (My sister-in-law), and all there kids. It was great family time! We then came home, and had our 2nd Christmas with Louie's Mom. We then went to my Moms to have our 3rd Christmas . Eric and the boys came down to spend a week with us. It was a Christmas we'll never forget. Yes, don't get me wrong there were a ton of presents, but what made this Christmas so special was the time spent with Family. As with each new year it gives us a clean slate to start fresh, and look forward to good things to come. More memories, more good times, more learning, growing, and living life to it's fullest!
